How can I get access to ChatGPT.Edu at ISMMS?
All current ISMMS medical and graduate students will receive an email starting March 26, 2025 with instructions to claim their account after they sign an end-user attestation.
As our limited number of licenses are prioritized for students, a select cohort of educators, researchers, and staff will receive accounts, as determined by research and education leadership. Those identified to receive an account will be notified via email.
I have a personal account using my institutional email address, what happens now?
If you already have a ChatGPT account linked to your institutional email, you will be prompted upon first login to either merge your data or start fresh. We recommend starting fresh to ensure a clean transition to the institutional version. Otherwise, this will be the one-time opportunity to migrate your chat history.
If you currently are paying for a ChatGPT license with your institutional email address and you accept the invitation to have a ChatGPT.Edu account, your paid account will be automatically cancelled, and you will stop seeing charges on your credit card on file.
